The Inhabitants of Khundru, Nowgam area expressed dismay over the dilapidated condition of Achabal-Chattabal road that giving tough time to the commuters. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that potholes and cracks have developed on the road, and till date no repairing has been done on the road. "This road is vital as most of the vehicles pass through it and connects dozens of villages to the Anantnag township,” they said. Rayees Shah Various Police personnel posted in District Ganderbal participated in a blood donation camp organized by the local Administration at mini secretariat lawn of Ganderbal. The Jammu Kashmir Police in its statement has said, "In the recent times due to the corona pandemic, the blood banks are running dry with a decreasing number of blood donors but the number of patients in need of blood remains the same." SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS, also attended the event to appreciate the Police personnel who donated blood and shared a message regarding the importance of blood donation. The SSP Ganderbal also distributed cash rewards among Jawans who donated blood.
