Two Militants Killed in Anantnag Encounter- Internet Snapped Again

Waris Shah/ Sheikh Nadeem Two militants have been killed in an encounter that broke out between militants and government forces in Waghama Village of Bijbehara in South kashmir's Anantnag district on Tuesday morning. A Police official speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that the gunfight broke out after a Cordon and Search Operation was launched in the area following specific inputs about the presence of the militants. As forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the search party, which was retaliated, thus triggering an encounter. 22-yr-old boy found Dead under mysterious conditions in Uri

A 22-year-old boy was found dead under mysterious conditions at his residence in Uri area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district. Police officials told that a boy identified as Zameer Ahmad, son of Talib Hussain Dhani of Uri was found dead. They said the cause of death is being ascertained, adding that post-mortem of the body will be carried out to determine the cause of the death. After completing the post-mortem and other legal formalities, the body will be handed over to the legal heirs under proper protocol and other COVID-19 related guidelines for last rites, they said—(KNO)

Two more patients who were tested positive for Coronavirus died in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, taking the toll of total deaths related to Covid-19 to 96 Two patients who were tested positive for Coronavirus include 45-year-old male from Bijbehara area of Anantnag and 65-year male from Sugan area of Shopian district.
