The data base server of the Power Development department (PDD) in the Kashmir valley has been cyber attacked for the first time ever, Sources told The Kashmiriyat. A Source within the PDDs IT Department speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that on Wednesday around 4 AM, the cyber attack happened and soon the cyber Police reached the spot. The Jammu Kashmir administration has ordered setting up of seven new police units and deployment of more than 271 additional police personnel to strengthen security in South Kashmir. In the last few years, South Kashmir military establishments have come up in a large scale as South is considered to be hot-bed of Militant activities.
