25-Year-Old Biker Dies in South Kashmir Mishap

Waris Shah A 25-year-old youth on Saturday evening died in a road mishap in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a 25-year-old biker identified as Zahid Ahmad Najar son of Bashir Ahmad Najar of Kukar Pahalgam met with an accident at Batkoot when his two wheeler hit with a tree after he lost control over his speed. He was rushed to the District hospital in a critical condition however doctors declared him brought dead on arrival. Meanwhile Jammu Kashmir police has taken cognizance of this road mishap.

The death toll due to the Novel Coronavirus has mounted to 125 in Jammu Kashmir as four more patients died on Saturday due to the virus in the Union Territory, officials said. An unidentified body with legs and head chopped was this morning recovered from Jhelum river at Sumbal in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
