A cotton factory was damaged in a massive fire in Chanthangulabpora area of Lar Ganderbal. According to locals the fire broke out in nearby factory, in the afternoon here in Chanthangulabpora near Old Cement Factory in Lar Ganderbal. Locals doused the fire as the fire service reached late. Initial reports say that a short circuit caused the fire which resulted in huge damage to the factory. 3 Labourers Gone Missing in Shopian District; Missing Report Filed

A missing report has been filed by the family members of three laborers from Rajouri district who have been missing from the last three weeks. Family of Imtiaz Ahmad son of Sabar Hussein(26), Ibrar Ahmed son of Bagga Khan (18) and Ibrar Ahmed (21) son of Mohammad Yousaf, have been waiting for them to contact home since their last call on 17th July. Talking to media, Lal Hussain, a relative said, “They last called on July 17 when they informed the families that they have reached Shopian where they have taken a room on rent.” The family said that they didn’t file the missing report earlier because they assumed that there are connectivity issues in Kashmir and they would call sooner or later. He is being celebrated by people in the streets of Peshawar for gunning down 57-year old Tahir Naseem in a courtroom in north-western Pakistan on July 29.
