Authorities on Tuesday re-imposed strict restrictions in the Achabal town of south Kashmir's Anantnag district.
Following the announcement of restrictions on Tuesday, all shops were closed and traffic was off the road.

Today marks the fifth day since the editor of The Kashmiriyat, Qazi Shibli was detained at the SherGhari police station, Srinagar, Kashmir.

Pradeep Singh has emerged as the topper followed by Jatin Kishore and Pratibha Verma at second and third position, respectively.
The results are based on the written part of Civil Services examination, 2019 which were held in September 2019 and the interviews or Personality Tests that were conducted from February-August, 2020.
Around 829 candidates are shortlisted for various Civil Services in the 2019 exam.
The Civil Services exams are held every year for the selection of candidates to Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Other Central Services.

A dead body was recovered from Nallah Sindh at the Sumbal area of Kangan belt in central Kashmiri’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday morning.
According to police officials, an unidentified dead body was recovered from Nallah Sindh at the Sumbal area which is under the jurisdiction of Police station Gund.

India's total COVID-19 tally increases to 18,55,746 including 5,86,298 active cases, 12,30,510 cured and 38,938 deaths, according to the data released by the Health Ministry.
