Two Day Curfew Imposed in Srinagar on Anniversary of Revocation of Article 370

In view of the anniversary of the revocation of Article 370 and 35A an order has been issued by the District Magistrate, Srinagar, stating that strict restrictions will be imposed in the capital city of Srinagar. The order stated the reason for the restrictions as “a series of inputs have been received suggesting that separatists and Pakistan sponsored groups are planning to observe 5th August as a black day”. The authorities were seen laying restrictions on 3rd August, Monday, with loudspeakers announcing curfew and imposing restrictions on public movement. Police and paramilitary forces sealed the market places and roads. Man Killed by Three PUBG Maniacs in Jammu

A man was killed by three PUBG maniacs when he asked the game players to stop making noise while playing the online game. The alleged murder took place in Badyal Qazian village of R S Pura tehsil in Jammu district. A case has been lodged and the three accused are arrested. While talking to media persons, the officials said that “Raj Kumar, Bikram Jeet, and Rohit Kumar were playing the online game, when Daleep Raj objected and asked them not to make noise”. Allegedly, Daleep was later attacked by these three men with a log of wood and he died on the spot. Many such incidents have surfaced recently were the cause of the violence was online games and the psychological impact the violence has on young minds. The Government may soon ban PUBG.

Family of Missing Kokernag Youth Appeals Him to Return Home

The family of the youth, Ilyas Ahmad Dar, who has gone missing from his home on 23rd July has urged him to return. The family has also appealed to the Government to trace their 23-year-old son. According to the family, Ilyas Ahmad Dar son of Bashir Ahmad Dar from Dhanvetpura, Kokernag is missing for a week. Talking to media persons, his relatives said, “We contacted all relatives and his friends but no one was able to provide any clue about him and later we lodged a missing report at the concerned police station.” A senior police official posted in the area, while confirming that his missing report was lodged, said,  “Reports suggest that the person has joined Hizbul Mujhadin militant organization, but we are not sure.”
