7 Years On, Sopore Maharajpora Bridge Awaits Completion

Peerzada Waseeem Despite elapsing seven years since the foundation stone was laid by the then chief minister, the authorities have miserably failed to complete Maharajpora bridge in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, thus leaving the local residents to lurch at large. Pertinently, the foundation stone was laid down by the then Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in presence of Abdul Majid Wani, the then Roads and Building (R&B) Minister on 2nd December 2013. Tablighi Jamaat spread the Covid 19 Infection to ‘many persons’, Says MHA

The Union Home Ministry on Monday said the Tablighi Jamaat gathering in Delhi's Nizamuddin locality in March led to the coronavirus infection spreading to "many persons". Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy also said in the Rajya Sabha that Delhi Police arrested 233 Tablighi Jamaat members and 2,361 people have been evacuated from the organisation's headquarters since March 29. Scuffle Among Drivers Leaves Three Injured in Srinagar, Shifted to Hospital

Three drivers were injured in a scuffle that broke out between them in Parimpora Mandi in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Monday. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that three drivers were injured when a scuffle broke out between them at Parimpora Mandi and they were were shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment. US to Sanction Iran’s Nuclear, Missile, and Conventional Arms Programs
