‘They Certainly Intended to Kill us that Night’, 4 Tablighi Jamaat Members Recount Attack by Hindu Mobs in Maharashtra

On the night of 16 September, 4 Tablighi Jamaat members Suhail Tamboli, Aslam Ather, Sayyed Layak, Nizamuddin Qazi were brutally attacked by some Hindu mobs in the Hol village of Maharashtra’s Beed district.The four Tablighi Jamaat members were travelling to Ambajogai village from Dharur for one of their friend’s funeral when the car developed a glitch and they parked the car and Suhail Tamboli and Sayyed Layak went to get water for coolant. JK Admin Amends Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rules 2020

The Jammu Kashmir administration has introduced amendment in the grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rules, 2020, authorizing Naib Tehsildar in addition to Tehsidar to issue certificates to PCR holders and their children. "In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 15 of the Jammu Kashmir Civil Services (Decentralisation and Recruitment) Act, 2010, the government hereby makes the following amendment in the Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rules, 2020," a notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) stated on Saturday. Missing Tral Youth Seen in a Viral Photograph Carrying Weapon Arrested

Police arrested a missing youth today whose photograph in which he was seen carrying a weapon had gone viral yesterday. The missing youth identified as 21 year - old Shazada Suvaid, son of Manzoor Ahmed Shah, a resident of Batagund - Tral, was arrested by Tral Police at Devar Tral in Kashmir. Suvaid had gone missing on 19 September and then on the very same day, his photograph had gone viral on social media. In the photograph he was purportedly carrying a weapon. A police official told news agency KNT that Shazada Suvaid was arrested without the weapon. He said matter is under investigation and the youth is being questioned.

Indictment of Soldiers for Killing Three Labourers Confirms Fake Encounter: Yousuf Tarigami

The communist paety of India (Marxist) leader, Yusuf Tarigami has said that the indictment of unnamed soldiers for killing three labourers from Rajouri on July 18th, in South Kashmir's Shopian district ropes the confirmation of a fake encounter. In a press release issued to The Kashmiriyat, Mr. Tarigami said that the Court of Inquiry (CoI) by the Army is encouraging and must ensure the justice does not get delayed under any pretext.
