After bail in 11 cases, ‘Maoist’ arrested again under UAPA while leaving Jail

Danish Alias Krishnan (30) who hails from Coimbatore, and is also a suspected Maoist was arrested while he was coming out of the jail in Thrissur after obtaining bail in 11 UAPA cases against him. Danish had been in the Kerala jail since his arrest from Palakkad district in October 2018, and had been getting bail in one case after another. He could have finally emerged out of the high-security prison after meeting the conditions in the latest bail order, which was issued by a district court in November 2019. 5 Indian Civilians Who Went Missing from Arunachal to be Handed over by China

Five Indian civilians, who went missing from villages near the border with China earlier this month, have been handed over to India by China's People's Liberation Army or PLA, as per army sources. The Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) would hand over the civilians, who went missing from Arunachal Pradesh, on Saturday at a designated location.China will hand over the five Indian nationals at Wacha near Kibithu border personnel meeting point, said Army sources later. In a first, Twin Sopore villages get Mobile Phone Connectivity

In a first, twin remote villages in Sopore area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district got mobile connectivity, officials said here. An official told that villages Rajpura and Rampura in Sopore have been provided mobile connectivity for the first time. He said that a mobile tower by Reliance Jio was installed and it was made functional on Friday to give mobile and internet connectivity to the twin villages, The twin villages are famous for their scenic beauty, however, the area lacked mobile phone connectivity for decades. The area is also known as Khudgoo Munglu in local parlance. The Jammu Kashmir Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested three persons alleged for their role in pasting posters and displaying banners of militants in Pampore town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. One Dead, 3 Injured in Tral Road Mishap

Mohammad Mufeez A person was killed while three sustained injuries in a road mishap in South Kashmir’s Tral on Saturday. Talking to The Kashmiriyat, a local said that a load carrier Auto Skidded at Paner Jageer, Tral on early Saturday, resulting in the on spot death of a perosn while three others sustained injuries in the mishap. All injured persons were shifted to nearby hospital for advanced treatment. They are said to be stable now. The deceased has been identified as Ab Rahman parry from Koil ShiKargah Tral, while the injured have been identified as Mohd Yaqoob Gujar from Karmullah Tral,Bilal Ahmad Bhat from Koil ShiKargah Tral and his wife injured. Kerala:NIA court grants bail to two students held under UAPA

The special court of NIA in Kochi granted bail to two students, who were arrested for alleged Maoist links in November last year and were facing charges under UAPA. Allan Shuhaib, 20, a law student , and Thwaha Fazal, 24, a journalism student, were arrested in Kozhikode by local police and charged under Sections 38 and 39 of UAPA and Section 120B of IPC. The second accused was also charged under Section 13 of UAPA. Later, the case was handed to the NIA.
