Shopkeeper Booked By Ganderbal Police For Running Shop Despite Being COVID-19 Positive

A police official told The Kashmiriyat that the Ganderbal police booked a shopkeeper namely Jalal-ud-din Najar, son of Mohammad Sidiq Najar, who despite being COVID-19 positive violated the SOPs and guidelines issued by the District Administration (DA) and opened his shop at Taj Complex Beeharna Ganderbal. He is a resident of Giraj Ganderbal. The said shopkeeper, who as per the guidelines had to be under home quarantine to prevent the spread of disease, failed to do so. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that some miscreants looted cash from the donation boxes after breaking open the lock of the Masjid and shrine late night on Thursday.
