An officer of the Border Security Force officer died after collapsing on the road in Srinagar district on Saturday morning. An official confirming the incident to The Kashmiriyat said that a BSF man Hayat Singh collapsed on the road during patrolling duty here in Raj Bhawan area of Kashmir's summer capital, Srinagar. Sajad Hameed The Government Forces on Saturday claimed to have recovered and diffused an old shell in north Kashmir’s Handwara. An official told The Kashmiriyat that an old shell was found by some locals at Wadder area of Handwara on Saturday morning. The locals informed the police who rushed to the spot and difused the old shell. He said that no loss of life or any other injury was reported from the diffusion.

The Ambulance was carrying two ladies identified Haji Maryam sheikh and Zareena Shiekh D's/O Gh Mohd Shiekh R/O Sangra  Bata Kashtwar, both COVID positive. Talking to The Kashmiriyat, an official said that that the cause of accident has been asserted as over-speeding, causing the death of both the patients in the ambulance.  The dead body of one of one lady is at vessu hospital and another body at District Hospital, Anantanag.  A Case has been registered and investigation taken up.

Rayees Shah A family from Kaloo Mohallah Gund area of central Kashmir'sGanderbal district has appealed to people to trace out a woman missingsince 29 August 2020. A family member said the person missing was Khalida Bano, wife of Zahoor Ahmad Lone, a residence of Kaloo Mohallah Gund. The inspector-General of Police Kashmir range Vijay Kumar on Friday said that two top commanders of Lashkar-e-Toiba including a foreigner were killed in Sirhama, Anantnag encounter. On the 18th of July, a day after an encounter raged in Shopian’s Amshipora, three ‘alleged’ militants - Abrar Ahmed (25), Imtiaz Ahmed (21), Abrar Ahmed (17) were killed in an encountered and were buried silently in Baramulla, without them being identified. The results of the DNA samples that were taken 5 weeks ago were delayed every week according to the family members of the killed labourers. Nearly after 6 weeks of the encounter, Indian Army released a statement on the 18th of September about the misconduct of power that exceeded the operation.
