Police Arrests Two Cops Involved In Issuing Fake Passes to Travellers at Lakhanpur Gateway

The police cracked down a module, involved in issuing fake passes to the people entering J&K via the gateway of Lakhanpur on Wednesday. Two cops who were involved in the process have been arrested. One inspector was also suspended on the spot for dereliction of duty. The police have also registered an FIR under number 90/20 under Sections 420, 471, 188, 269, 270 IPC against the duo. SSP Kathua, Shailnder Mishra said that police has received many complaints over the last few days that some police personnel are involved in issuing fake passes to the travellers at Lakhanpur to save their time in checking. House Gutted in Fire Incident at Deesu Anantnag

Sheikh Nadeem A Residential house was gutted in a fire mishap at Deesu Daksum in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday Morning. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a massive fire broke out early morning in Residential house owned by Mohd Sidiq Kohli son of Habib Kholi resident of Deesu Daksum. In this mishap a one-story house was completely damaged but the cause of the fire was not found. Police reached on spot and further investigation has been initiated in this regard. BJP MLA from Indore and Madhya Pradesh cabinet minister Usha Thakur has kicked up a controversy by saying that all the radical and terrorists are raised in madrasas. Thakur, a minister for tourism and culture in Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in Madhya Pradesh, called for the shutdown of madrasas in the state, saying "religion-based education is spreading radicalisation". “There should be uniformity in education. Religion-based education is spreading radicalisation, feeling of enmity. Therefore, every student should get the same education collectively. If you are a citizen of the country, you will see that all radicals and terrorists are raised in madrasas, they had turned Jammu Kashmir into a terror factory,” she said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

Waris Shah One Unidentified male dead body was recovered in South kashmir Ranipora Village of Anantnag district on Wednesday Morning. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a few residents spotted the body lying in Ranipora village of Anantnag and immediately informed police about it. Soon after being informed, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body, they said. A Police official identified the dead body as that of Mohammed Yaseen Kiyani son of Barkatullah Kiyani, a resident of Rakhe Brah area in Mattan, Anantnag district. Police have taken cognizance into the death of Mohd Yaseen.
