Shabir Khan The burglars broke the donation boxes and decamped with cash at the Sufi shrine of Hazrat Syed Nizamuddin Bukhari's in the Delina area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district. Mudasir Ali, a noted journalist associated with ‘Greater Kashmir’, passed away due to cardiac arrest early Friday morning, family sources said. Mudasir who was also a contributor to news portal ‘The Wire’, was a resident of Charar-e-Sharief area in Budgam, Mudasir and was in his mid-30s. As per reports, Mudasir complained of pain in his chest and was driven to a hospital in Srinagar at around 2 am on Friday, however, he had passes away before making it to the hospital. The Jammu Kashmir government by next month is going to publish names of more than 500 people who have derived benefits from the alleged Roshni Act scam. Sources said that the names of former Ministers, Bureaucrats and prominent businessmen will appear in the beneficiary list. The Jammu Kashmir High Court has directed the administration to upload on the official website a list of all encroachers, including influential persons, on government land. The court said the revenue secretary and the divisional commissioners would be held liable for contempt of court if the directions did not comply.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Thursday announced date sheet for annual regular examination for class 11th. As per the date sheet, the JKBOSE has scheduled the exam from December-12. “The exams will commence from December-12 and will culminate on January-06 2021,” the notification reads. Earlier the students had been demanding a mass promotion, however the JKBOSE had clearly said they will conduct examinations.

Hafiz Saeed Sentenced Ten Years in Two Cases by Pakistan Court

Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, has been sentenced to 10 years in jail in two terror cases by a court in Pakistan, news agency PTI reported. This was not the first time that Hafiz Saeed, chief of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, a front organisation for the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), was sentenced in a terror case by a Pakistani court. In February, Hafiz Saeed and some of his aides were convicted and sentenced to 11 years in jail in a terror-financing case. Hafiz Saeed was arrested in Pakistan in July last year in connection with terror-financing cases after international pressure built up on Pakistan to come clean.
