Unani College Starts Admissions for BUMS Course in Kashmir

Government Unani Medical College of Kashmir has got permission to start the admission process for the first batch of Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) course in the year 2020-21. There will be 60 seats in this course. An official spokesman gave this information, NDTV Reported. The spokesman said that the Union Ministry of AYUSH has issued a "permission letter" to start the course. Earlier, following the recommendations of the Central Medicine Council of India (CCIM), a letter of intent was issued to open a new Unani Medical College in the name of Government Unani Medical College and Hospital with 60 seats in Kashmir. No DDC Members Detained As Alleged by Mehbooba Mufti, Says Police

The PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti alleged that two women DDC members of her party were detained by Jammu Kashmir Police citing "security concerns". Since 2016, the government forces launched a massive crackdown against OGWs also called as Militant associates to limit the capabilities of Militants to attack and regroup.
