Army Man Allegedly Molests Local Woman in Baramulla, Arrested

The Jammu Kashmir Police on Wednesday arrested an army soldier for allegedly molesting a 36-year-old woman here at Paranpeelan area of Uri in this north-Kashmir district. A senior police official said that an army soldier belonging to 173 TA of Engineering section identified as Hawaldar Parvaiz Hussain presently attached with 18 MLI Bandi in Uri was arrested after allegations of molestation made on him by a local woman (name withheld) today. Youth from Pulwama Kashmir Missing in Gurgaon Since 24 November

Identified as Zahid Ahmed Lone, who is a resident of Braw Bandina area in Pulwama, Zahid was working for a private company in Gurgaon as per a family member. ‘New Land Laws will destroy the food security of Jammu Kashmir’- Tarigami Approaches Supreme Court

Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has filed an Application for Direction in the pending Writ Petition in the Supreme Court challenging new land laws on behalf of the CPI (M).
