Leopard Attack in Kashmir Leaves Four Civilians Injured

An official of the wildlife department along with three civilians were injured when a leopard attacked them in Shopian district of South Kashmir on Sunday. Officials said that a leopard appeared in Meemander village and attacked people. The wildlife department was informed and concerned authorities reached the spot in a brisk to capture the leopard. The leopard left four people injured - two of which are seriously injured while the other two other two suffered minor injuries. Wildlife employee, Mushtaq Ahmad and Mushtaq Ahmad Ganie, a local of the area are the two seriously injured victims from the attack. Rockets Strike in North Air Base of Iraq Leaving One Injured

At least four rockets struck an Iraqi airbase Saturday night, the Iraqi military said in a statement, while other officials said one person was wounded at the base where an American defense company services combat aircraft, according to a report by Associated Press. Four security officials said that the individual wounded at Balad airbase in Salahaddin province worked for the company, and one of them said his nationality was South African. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity in line with regulations. Forces Bust Hideout in Pahalgam, Arms, Ammunition Recovered

The Government forces on Sunday claimed to have bust a hideout in Pahalgam forests in Anantnag district and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition. A senior police official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a hideout was busted in Hamal forest area of Pahalgam in South Kashmir's Anantnag district.
