Locals from South Kashmir Monday accused Para-military troopers of forcibly trying to occupy land that they use for grazing animals. Journalist Siddique Kappan Bailed for 5 Days

On Monday, the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Kerala-based journalist Siddique Kappan for five days to meet his ailing mother. The court said it will be the responsibility of the Uttar Pradesh Police to ensure his travel to and fro his mother’s house in Kerala.
