Covid 19 Vaccination Drive Begins at DPL Awantipora

COVID-19 vaccination drive began at the Police District Lines Awantipora for Police officers and Jawans as front line workers fighting the covid-19 outbreak. SSP Awantipora Shri Tahir Saleem Khan-JKPS, SDPO Tral,SDPO Awantipora,DySP Awantipora and other officers got themselves vaccinated along with their respective teams. CRPF Man Sustains Bullet Injury Inside Camp in Budgam

A CRPF officer was wounded after the service rifle he was fiddling with went off inside the camp in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district. The incident took place at Nagam Chadura Camp belonging to C-Company 117 Battalion CRPF during the intervening night of February 11 and 12. Official sources said that the rifle of Assistant Sub Inspector Rajesh Kumar went off and the bullet hit his leg. They said Kumar was shifted to Badami Bagh based Army hospital for treatment. KNT

The work on Mini Secretariat complex undertaken by Public Works Department (PWD) in 2011 in Mendhar here is far from complete. The work on Rs. 14 crore -project is in limbo as officials cite lack of funds to complete it.
