Suhail Dar An encounter has broken out between militants and Government forces in the Sirhama area of Bijbehara belt in South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) district on Wednesday morning. An official confirming the exchange of gunfire to The Kashmiriyat said that 03 RR Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jointly laid a siege in the Sirhama area of Anantnag. He said that the cordon was laid after the forces had received a tip-off about Militant movements in the area.
