Youth Thrash Several Musicians During Badamwari Annual Festival in Srinagar

Entertainment turned into rucks on Sunday late afternoon after dozens of youth came and attacked the music team, who were performing in the famous Badamwari garden located in Kashmir Capital Srinagar. Eyewitnesses told that dozens of youth came and attacked the music team, adding that several musicians were thrashed. They said that the stage was vandalized, music instruments were broken. Moreover, as per witnesses the famous Kashmiri singer Shazia Bashir, who was performing on stage at the time of the incident escaped unhurt. Meanwhile, police have rushed towards the spot. (KDC)

Shopian Encounter- One Militant, One Trooper Killed, Internet Suspended in Shopian

Meer Irfan One MIlitant and one Army man has been killed in an encounter that started between militants and Government forces in the Dangam area of Harmain in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday evening.
