Youth Thrash Several Musicians During Badamwari Annual Festival in Srinagar

Entertainment turned into rucks on Sunday late afternoon after dozens of youth came and attacked the music team, who were performing in the famous Badamwari garden located in Kashmir Capital Srinagar. Eyewitnesses told that dozens of youth came and attacked the music team, adding that several musicians were thrashed. They said that the stage was vandalized, music instruments were broken. Moreover, as per witnesses the famous Kashmiri singer Shazia Bashir, who was performing on stage at the time of the incident escaped unhurt. Meanwhile, police have rushed towards the spot. (KDC)

A cop was shot dead by his colleague during duty hours in the Jakhani Naka area of Udhampur district on Sunday, an official said.
