UP Police Book At least 100 Muslims for protesting Against Prophet’s ‘insult’ by Narsinghanand Saraswati
The Uttar Pradesh Police have booked at least a hundred people in the Pilibhit town after they staged a protest over ”insulting” remarks made by Hindu priest Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati against Prophet Muhammad, a renowned Urdu newspaper, Inquilab reported.
According to the report, the protestors have been accused of violating social distancing norms and section 144 imposed in the area on account of Panchayat elections in Pilibhit.
