School Building Damaged in Massive Fire in Pulwama

A Government School building was gutted in a massive blaze in the Kakpora area of Pulwama in South Kashmir. An official confirming the fire incident to The Kashmiriyat said that the Government High school building was damaged in a fire incident late on Tuesday night in the Kakpora area of Pulwama. The cause of the fire was not known immediately, he said. The police has taken cognizance of the incident and launched a probe into the incident.

Sources said that combined forces laid a siege in Shopian and Pulwama villages and conducted search operations after inputs about the movement of militants in these areas. The hamlets that were brought under siege included Inder Pulwama (55 RR), Melhora Wachi in Shopian (55 RR), Chitragam Shopian (01 RR) and Midora Tral Pulwama (42 RR), The search operations were under progress till the filing of this report.
