Militant Outfit, PAFF Releases Video of Lawaypora Attack

Militant outfit People's Anti-Fascist Front (PFF) has released a video of an attack on the Government Forces in the Lawapora area on the Srinagar- Baramulla highway on March 25 in which three soldiers including a sub-inspector of the CRPF were killed. The video now being widely circulated on social media shows how these unknown militants went close to the Government Force personnel and opened fire at them. The Militants attacked a bunker of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) along the Baramulla- Srinagar highway. At least five people have been arrested so far in the connection, three arrests were made in Lawalpora late on Thursday night. Waris Shah A sub-inspector was arrested from the Sirigufwara area of Anantnag district in South Kashmir on Friday afternoon by the Anti-corruption bureau. An official told The Kashmiriyat that a team headed by DYSP Parvaiz Ahmad caught red-handed Sub-inspector Ghulam Mohammed, belt number 2956/S posted at Police Station in Srigufwara along with bribe money of Rs 7000. The ACB has received a complaint from a person named Mohammed Amin Ganie Son of Abdul Ahad Resident of Darigund Srigufwara. The official said that a case FIR No. 07/2021 stands registered at ACB Police station.

Police on Friday foiled an attempt by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) activists to hit the streets in Srinagar against double tax of vehicles purchased from outside Jammu Kashmir. PDP leaders and other activists had assembled at party headquarter near here Friday to take out a protest march in the summer capital. However, police closed all roads leading to PDP headquarter with barbed wire. One Militant Killed in Ongoing Gunfight in Pulwama- Internet Suspended

Mehran Bhat One Militant has been killed in the ongoing encounter between government forces and Militants in the Ghat Mohalla Kakapora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Friday. A Police official told The Kashmiriyat earlier 50 RR, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jointly launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the Ghat Mohalla of Kakpora in Pulwama. During the CASO, the militants hiding in the area, opened fire, which triggered an encounter. During the encounter, one militant has been killed whose is yet to be identified, the official said. Nocturnal Encounter Rages in Samboora Area of Pulwama

An encounter has started between Militants and Government Forces in the Samboora area of district Pulwama in South Kashmir. Sources told The Kashmiriyat  that 50 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force launched an Anti Militancy operation in the Samboora Pulwama. During the searches, the hiding Militants opened fire upon the Government Force personnel, triggering an encounter. As per initial reports two to three militants are holed up in the area, as more Forces are being rushed to the area. The forces have sealed the entry and exit points to the area. As per locals, no firing has been heard after the initial exchange of gunfire, however massive searches are on, as two to three Militants are believed to be hiding in the area.
