Man with Black, White and Yellow Fungus Dies in Uttar Pradesh

A COVID-19 patient who was also diagnosed with black, white and yellow fungal infections, has died in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad. “Kunwar Singh was under treatment but passed away due to toxemia (blood poisoning by toxins) at 7.30 pm on Friday,” said Dr. B P Tyagi, an ENT (ear, nose, throat) specialist at Harsh Hospital in the city’s Raj Nagar area. The doctor said Singh (59), a lawyer from Sanjay Nagar in the city, had approached him recently with COVID-19 conditions. “The yellow fungus, besides white and black fungus, was detected during endoscopy on May 24,” Tyagi added. India on Friday extended the suspension on international commercial flight operations till June 30, 2021 “In partial modification of circular dated 26-06-2020, the competent authority has further extended the validity of circular issued on the above subject… regarding scheduled international commercial passenger services to and from India till 2359 hrs IST of 30 June 2021,” the circular issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said. The circular said that the restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by DGCA. Suhail Dar Two persons were shot by unknown gunmen in the Jablipora area of Bijbehara of Anantnag in South Kashmir. An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Saturday evening unknown persons shot at two persons in the Jablipora area, resulting in their injuries, The duo was rushed to the hospital. One of them identified as Sanjeed Ahmed Parray aged 19, a resident of Jablipora died of his injuries at Sub-District hospital in Bijbehara. The Second person identified as Shaan Ahmed Bhat Son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat aged 35, also succumbed to his injuries at the District hospital of Anantnag.

Rayees SHAH A 35-year old man was critically injured on Saturday after a wild bear attacked him in Machkani Wanghat area of Kangan Tehsil of central Kashmirs Ganderbal district. An official told The Kashmiriyat that a 35-year-old man identified as Irshad Ahmad Kalas son of Mohd Ayoub Kalas resident of Machkani Wanghat was attacked by a wild bear on early Saturday. He said the injured was rushed to Sub District Hospital Kangan for treatment.

The Administrative Council (AC) which met under the chairmanship of the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, approved the proposal of Power Development Department(PDD) to augment the capacity of 220/132 KV Mir Bazar grid station from 320 MVA to 475 MVA at an estimated cost of Rs. 29.92 crores. Once the grid station is commissioned at the new capacity, the power supply will improve manifold to cater to the demands of emerging consumer base including industrial and commercial segments. It will also improve reliability, distribution efficiency, voltage profile, reduction in faults, and voltage variations. IED Blast Aftermath: Police book three Shopian youth

Police booked three youth from Shopian district in connection with an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast. Militants on 16 May this month had detonated an IED when an army patrolling party from 44 Rashtriya Rifles were moving towards Trukwangam village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district. Sources told news agency that police have booked three youth for their alleged involvement in this IED attack. All these three youth are the residents of Turkwangam village. They have been identified as Shoib Shafi Bhat, Muntazir Farooq Lone and Tauqeer Ashraf Lone.
