DC Anantnag hands over 60 bulk oxygen cylinders to CMO Anantnag

As a significant step to boost the medical oxygen supply in the district, the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla today handed over Sixty (60) filled bulk medical oxygen cylinders to CMO here at DC office Anantnag. The fresh supply will further augment the oxygen facilities at Trauma hospital Bijbehara and other health centres in the district. It is pertinent to mention here that the oxygen cylinders have been donated by National Highway and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) as a welfare measure under the CSR component. SP Hq, Nikhil Borkar ACR, Syed Yasir, Deputy Commissioner and other officers were present on the occasion. The gesture was widely appreciated by the medical fraternity and people of the District.

Muslim Man Lynched to Death in Uttar Pradesh, Five others Injured

At least three persons were killed while two others were injured and another went missing in a road accident in Digdole area of Ramban district on Saturday morning. Officials told the news agency, that a passenger vehicle carrying at least six persons fell into a gorge near Digdole. They said that in the incident three persons were killed while two were injured and another was still missing.
