Altaf Bukhari Courts Yet Another Controversy, Says Statements made by Leaders Different than What was Discussed in the Meeting

Apni Party president and former minister Syed Altaf Bukhari on Tuesday said that the statements given by the leaders after the All Party Meeting on June 24 in New Delhi, were contrary to what was discussed inside. ₹10 Lakh Financial Assistance to Beneficiaries Under CM Dalit Empowerment Programme in Telangana

Under the Chief Minister Dalit Empowerment Programme, the Telanaga government has announced that it shall provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the eligible Dalit beneficiaries. Eight houses Gutted, 35 Engulfed in Massive Banihal Fire

At least eight houses were gutted while over 35 others are engulfed as massive fire rages in the hilly area of Banihal in Ramban district, officials said. They said the fire erupted in the Hijwah village of Mahu Mangit area under the jurisdiction of police post-Khari. The area is hilly, and houses are mainly made of wood, the officials said. So far, eight houses have been gutted in the fire, the cause of which is still unknown. The area is around 40 kilometers from district headquarters. Quoting SHO Banihal Nayeem Mattoo, news agency GNS reported that efforts are underway to douse off the flames.
