A Muslim man, named Majid Ali was beaten to death in Madaniya village of Meja Police Station Area in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. It has come to the fore that Majid Ali objected to his daughter's molestation by three youths, who were identified as Madhav Nishad, Kallu and Golu. On Sunday, Ali's daughter Sadiya, went to a mango orchard, nearby. The youths mentioned above passed comments on Sadiya and caught her hand, forcefully. The Narbal area of Budgam in Central Kashmir is observing a shutdown amid heavy deployment of paramilitary personnel to mourn the killing of Nadeem Abrar on Tuesday. The body of a class 11th student, who jumped from river Jhelum at Cement Kadal here in Noorbagh four days ago, was retrieved on Tuesday morning. Official sources told  the body of a 17-year-old youth identified as Saqib Ahmad Ahanger, son of Abdul Kalam Ahanger was retrieved today by River police at Cement Kadal in Noorbagh area. A female health worker has allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her home in Dalipora area of Nagam in Central Kashmir's Budgam district on Monday late evening. Sources told that a woman (name withheld), a health worker at PHC Hufroo Chadoora, consumed some poisonous substance at her home last night. He said that the woman was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital wherefrom she was shifted to Srinagar hospital, however, died on the way. An Assistant Commander, Sub Inspector were among the three Central Reserve Police force (CRPF) personnel, were injured in an ongoing encounter between forces and militants in Maloora area of Parimpora on Srinagar outskirts, officials said Monday. Official sources informed the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that three CRPF personnel including two officers were injured, who have been rushed to the hospital for the treatment. An assistant commandant of CRPF was the third paramilitary personnel to be injured in an ongoing gunfight at Malhoora area of Parimpora Srinagar on Monday, officials said. They said that the officer identified as Satender Kumar suffered injuries and was removed to the hospital. Earlier Mohammad Waseem (constable) and a sub-inspector Shivam Kumar sustained the injuries and were shifted to the army hospital at Badamibagh Srinagar and SMHS here respectively, they said.
