Man Arrested For Carrying ‘Suspected Explosive Material’ in Jammu: Police

The Jammu Kashmir police on Sunday claimed to have arrested a man, who was carrying some suspected explosive substance in Narwal area of Jammu. Official sources told that the man hailing from Jammu division was roaming in Narwal area under suspicious conditions after which an operation was launched by the police and the suspect was zeroed in. "He was detained and a multi-kilogram substance, possibly an explosive substance of improvised nature was recovered from his possession," they said. They added that the substance was to be used to carry out a major strike in Jammu, which has now been foiled due to timely arrest of the suspect. 20-year-old youth Missing From Anantnag

Suhail Dar A 20-year-old youth from South Kashmir's Anantnag district has gone missing. Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the family of the youth identified as Zahid Ahmad Teeli, a resident of the Hardtooru area in Chattisinghpora of Anantnag said that on June 24 around 4 PM, Zahid left home and has been missing since then. "Since then we have been trying to find him, however, we have not succeeded yet, we ask the general public and people to help us trace him," a family member of Zahid said. Son of Manzoor Ahmed Teeli, Zahid had left home to Play cricket in the nearby field at Hardtooru in District Anantnag, after which there has been no trace of Zahid.
