The Governor of Jammu Kashmir, Manoj Sinha on Thursday inaugurated various School Education Department projects costing 64 crores in nine districts. In this, 8 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya KGBV, 7 Girls Hostel at a cost of 28 crores. At the same time, 334 ICTC labs and 217 CAL centers are included at a cost of 36.50 crores. Speaking on the occasion, the Lt Governor said that the new KGBV and Girls Hostel would facilitate the children from educationally backward classes, which would increase enrollment and gender equality. With the help of ITC Lab, the youth will get a chance to be exposed to the digital world.
