The Former South Africa legendary opener Herschelle Gibbs has taken to Twitter and alleged the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has threatened him by denying him all cricketing activities in India in the futre if he participates in the upcoming Kashmir Premier League. The Kashmir Premier league is set to commence on Friday, August 6 in Muzaffarabad Pakistan. National Investigating Agency (NIA) Saturday said that it's men were conducting raids at 14 locations in Jammu Kashmir in connection with the two separate IED recovery cases. An NIA official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that NIA raids are going in Jammu Kashmir in connection with two separate cases. "One is IED recovered in Jammu on 27.06.2021 Rc -04/2021 and the other one is Lashker-e-Mustafa case," he said. 656 Cases Registered Under the UAPA between 2017 to 2019 in Jammu Kashmir

The government of India (GoI) on Thursday informed Parliament that 656 cases were registered and a total of 489 tribals arrested under the Unlawful Activities (P) Act between 2017 to 2019 in Jammu Kashmir. The details were shared by the Minister of State (MoS) for Tribal Affairs Renuka Singh Saruta in response to queries raised in the house. In a written response to the house, the MoS said that between 2017 to 2019 a total of 489 were arrested, 656 cases were registered while 1,278 cases have been put under trial. The figures reveal that in the year 2017 156 under UAPA were registered and 35 arrests were made while 297 were put under trial. He was also not a casualty but was "brutally murdered" by the Taliban after verifying his identity, according to a report published in an American magazine on Thursday. Siddiqui, 38, died while he was on an assignment in Afghanistan.
