Police man killed in militants attack in Pombay Kulgam

Sahil Gulzar A policeman was killed after suspected militants fired upon a police party in Pombay area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday evening. Police sources told The Kashmiriyat that militants fired upon on Police Party when it was regulating traffic in the Pombay area, in which one policeman was injured They said that the injured policeman was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. A senior police officer identified the slain cop as constable Nisar Ahmad. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard and the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers, he added.
