Lebanon’s Hezbollah Says It Fired Rockets into Israel in Response to Rocket Attacks Yesterday

On Friday, Lebanon's Hezbollah has said that it fired rockets into Israel from Southern Lebanon after Israeli warplanes targeted areas allied to the group in response to previous rocket attacks, a day earlier. As per QNN, the Israeli forces have said that the Siren warnings of incoming rocket fire were signalled in southern Israel and the occupied Golan Heights. As per the Daily Star in Lebanon, a Lebanese security official also confirmed that rockets had been fired from southern Lebanon. A video footage showed that about 10 rockets were intercepted by the Israeli Iron Dome system after they were launched toward open areas near Israeli military sites. Officials on Friday, said that the Enforcement Directorate (E.D.) has summoned former Jammu Kashmir chief minister, and the president of the PDP, Mehbooba Mufti's mother for questioning in a money laundering case. On earlier occasions as well, Gulshan Nazir, who happens to be in her late 70s, has been asked to appear before the central probe agency. Ms Nazir is the wife of the late chief minister of Jammu Kashmir, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.

The Government schools in Jammu Kashmir will be renamed after the Government Force personnel who have been killed while "fighting for India." Divisional Commissioner Jammu has written a letter to the Deputy Commissioners in the Jammu and Chenab valley divisions to identify the government-run schools, which can be named after the soldiers killed, Times Now reported on Friday. These Schools will be renamed after the Soldiers killed during Anti- Militancy and other combat operations including those in wars. 13 Hospitalized After Consuming Forest Mushroom in Ganderbal , 8 Referred to SKIMS

At least 13 persons have been hospitalized after consuming forest mushrooms at Banjar Basti Gutlibagh area of central Kashmir's Ganderbal district. Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that soon after villagers consume the forest variety of mushrooms, commonly known as 'Jangal Hedar', they complained of vomiting, diarrhoea and other reactions. The gusty winds on late Thursday evening damaged 33 and 11KV transmission lines across the Valley, affecting the electricity supply in most of the areas even as the Power Development Department (PDD) said that the teams were on job to repair the lines. 94 Taliban, Al-Qaeda Militants killed in operations by Afghan forces in Lashkar Gah

Over 90 Taliban and Al-Qaeda terrorists were killed; and 16 others suffered injuries in security operations conducted by Afghan forces in the past 24 hours in the city of Lashkar Gah, the Afghan Defence Ministry announced on Friday.
