The Government’s School Education Department on Monday ordered all vaccinated staff to attend office in Jammu and Kashmir. The order has been issued by B K Singh, Principal Secretary to Government School Education Deportment, following a detailed review on overall assessment of the situation pertaining to the spread of COVID-19 across J&K by the administration. “There is significant improvement in situation and need of further improvement in the interest of public health especially for students,” reads the order. Senior leader of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) DK Nehru died of cardiac arrest at his home in Rafiabad area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday morning. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that DK Nehru fell unconscious at his home last night following which he was rushed to a nearby hospital. A top LeT militant Babar Ali was killed in a gunfight in Chandaji area of North Kashmir's Bandipora district on Tuesday. Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar told GNS that the slain militant of today's encounter was part of same group who were killed on 24th July in Shokbaba forest.
