CPI (M) senior leader and People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) spokesman, Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami on Friday filed a writ petition in the top court of India, seeking early hearing of petition, challenging Government of India’s move to abrogate provisions of Article 370 on August 05, 2019. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Tarigami has already filed a petition challenging the decision taken by the government on August 05, 2019. Travellers Coming to Kashmir by Road Will Undergo Coronavirus Tests at Wangund, Qazigund

Danishwar Hameed Covid-19 test has been declared mandatory for incoming travellers at Wangund, Qazigund. Strengthening the preventive measures against Covid-19, in the wake of the rising cases in some states of the country, authorities in Kashmir on Saturday setup covid centre. No travellers will be allowed to go towards Kashmir until their test report is received. The test reports will be issued on the spot before letting the travellers go. The instructions come in the wake of a recent trend within Kashmir which shows a greater number of infections among travellers as compared to local cases of Covid-19 infections.
