The Militants have escaped after a brief exchange of fire in Methan area of Chanpora in  Srinagar. One Militant has  been killed during an encounter in the Natipora area of Srinagar on Friday evening, Police said. The Police said that one Militant was killed, while another escaped from the spot, after the Militants fired upon a Police team in the area. Police in their official statement said, “Militants fired at Srinagar Police team (at Natipora). Police also retaliated. During the ensuing chance #encounter, one militant got neutralised but one escaped. Arms & ammunition recovered.
