Two youths were injured in an acid attack by unknown persons near a bus stand in Poonch district on Wednesday. Official sources told GNS that Zulfikar Ahmed (22) son of Manzoor Ahmed and Sajad Ahmed (19) son of Mohammad Rashid, both residents of Bedar Mandi Poonch were attack with acid near toilets of the Bus Stand, resulting in injuries to them. Both of them were immediately shifted to District Hospital Poonch for treatment. Sheikh Nadeem A youth from Breenti area of Dialgam in South Kashmir's Anantnag died after a tree fell down on him on Wednesday morning. Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, officials said  a youth aged 31 was injured after a tree fell down on him at his native in Breenti Anantnag, resulting in serious injuries to the youth. He was shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment, however, he succumbed to his injuries on the way. The Jammu Kashmir Police have recovered eight grenades and a pistol at Hajitra village near LoC in Karnah last night, official sources said on Wednesday. They told that two suspected persons of Haridal Karnah area of Kupwara have been taken into detention following the recovery. The residents of Abdulain, a remote village of Tulail in north Kashmir's Bandipora district have accused the government of failing to repair the school building which suffered extensive damages due to the heavy snowfall in 2008. In 2008, heavy snowfall damaged the government middle school at Abdulain village of Tulail in Gurez valley, but since then the building has not been repaired, becoming a matter of worry for the parents and the students as well. According to locals, around 150 students are on rolls in this middle school but a proper school infrastructure remains a distant dream for them.
