Suhail Dar A 20-year-old youth drowned to death in the river Lidder in Pahalgam area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district. An official told The Kashmiriyat that a youth identified as Anees Ahmed Dar son of Gulzar Ahmed Dar, a resident of Srinagar's Eidgah area slipped and drowned in River Lidder in Pahalgam on Sunday afternoon. MGNREGA Engineers Association on Sunday called for two-day pen down strike against the government decision to engage retired engineers in Rural Development Department.
