JKSSB exams: Deaf and Dumb aspirants protest demand fulfillment of 80 seats

‘Only 16 candidates selected out of 80 posts’ Scores of aspirants, who are deaf and dumb staged a protest on Monday against Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) for allegedly failing to fill required number of seats. The aspirants assembled at Srinagar’s Press Enclave while carrying the placards reading ‘Save Future of Deaf and Mute People’ and ‘We Want Justice’. The protesters demanded authorities to fill 80 posts, saying that only 16 have been adjusted in the recently held written examination while rest of the candidates have been dropped from the selection list by JKSSB.
