Freezing cold conditions continued in Kashmir and Ladakh with Srinagar, the summer capital of JK, recording minus 0.2°C on Sunday. A meteorological department official here told GNS that mercury in Srinagar was below previous night’s 0.4°C. On November 23, the mercury settled at minus 2.3°C in Srinagar which is lowest temperature recorded so far this season in the city. Qazigund recorded a minimum temperature of minus 1.3°C against 0.3°C on the previous night, he said.
