A special police officer (SPO), posted with Government Railway Police, succumbed to injuries he had suffered after being hit by a train while trying to save a person on railway track near Kakapora Pulwama railway station earlier this week. Jammu Kashmir reported decline in covid-19 cases for the third day in a row with 4354 fresh infections confirmed in the last 24 hours while as five persons succumbed to the virus during the time, officials said on Friday.
