Body of hawker dealing with cloths was found under suspicious conditions in Rajouri district on Sunday, officials said. A police official told GNS that body of the hawker identified as Pawan Kumar son T Ram of Udhampur was found at Rajouri. At least eighteen person sustained injuries in an accident that took place near Kud on Udhampur Patniop road. Police officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that accident took place on Sunday evening when a mini bus and truck collided head-on in which 18 passengers travelling in minibus got injured. Officials further said that many of the injured are tourists who were going towards Patnitop. "All the injured were evacuated from the spot and taken to CHC Chennani from where many were referred to main hospitals for specialised treatment," said officials. The Government has rejected the applications of 6000 entities for Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act or FCRA registration which includes Jamia Millia Islamia and Oxfam India. 165 fresh covid-19 cases, no death reported in J&K

Jammu and Kashmir reported 165 fresh covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Sunday. 66 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu division and 99 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 341624. There was no death reported due to the virus during the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4530 persons—2199 in Jammu and 2331 in Kashmir—have died due to the virus, they said. Under-construction bridge collapses in Samba; 10 injured

At least 10 people were injured on Sunday when an under-construction bridge collapsed in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. The bridge was being constructed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in the Vijaypur area of the district, the officials said.
