400 health infrastructure projects initiated in Jammu Kashmir: Administration

Jammu and Kashmir Administration on Sunday said that more than 400 Health Infrastructure Projects/works worth Rs. 7177 Crores are being initiated. “Two new AIIMS with the project Cost of Rs 4000 Cr (Rs. 2000 Cr each) one each at Jammu Division & Kashmir Division, seven new Government Medical Colleges being established with total Outlay of Rs. 1595 Cr,” J&K Administration said. Administration said that ten new Nursing Colleges being set up with an approximate cost of Rs. 60 Crore. “Two State Cancer Institutes coming up worth Rs. 240 Cr, one each at Jammu and Kashmir Division,” Admin said. The Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to shift the acid attack survivor to Chennai hospital tomorrow for eye treatment and four tickets have already been provided to the victim's family on Sunday. Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the administration on the advice of doctors has decided to shift the acid attack victim to Chennai hospital for specialized eye treatment. They said the government has provided four tickets to the family and they are scheduled to leave for Chennai hospital at 09:00 AM from Srinagar Airport. Jammu and Kahsmir recorded 1148 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday— the lowest in the past 26 days.
