Police on Saturday claimed to have busted a Narco- Militancy module by arresting two people along with contraband worth Rupees 18 crore in North Kashmir's Baramulla district. 1 killed, 3 injured in scuffle over land dispute in Rajouri

One person was killed and three others injured as a scuffle broke out over a land dispute in Fatehpur village in Rajouri on Saturday evening. Reports reaching GNS said the scuffle broke out between two families over some land dispute. The sides came to blows and used sharp-edged weapons to attack each other, leading to injuries to four persons. The injured were evacuated to a nearby health facility where one Mohammad Hafiz (45) son of Hakim Din was declared as brought dead on arrival, officials told GNS. Jammu Kashmir reported 1606 new coronavirus cases while four persons succumbed to the virus during the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday. They said 887 of the fresh cases were confirmed from Jammu Division and 719 from Kashmir valley, taking the overall case tally to 445497. Court remanded Journalist Fahad Shah to police custody for ten days today.
