Unknown thieves stole two dozen sheep from a tin shed in South Kashmir’s Anantnag village. This cattle theft incident occurred during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday at Lassipora Khrew village of the district. 109 Government force personnel killed since abrogation of Article 370: Ministry

A total of 439 militants have been killed in 541 militancy- incidents since the repeal of Article 370 in the state of Jammu Kashmir, Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai informed the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. The Minister also said that a total of 98 civilians have been killed and 109 Government forces personnel have sacrificed their lives in the said period. Rai said in a written reply to a query by Rajya Sabha MP Neeraj Dangi regarding the number of militancy-related incidents in Jammu Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370. During these incidents, no significant public property was damaged, however, damages to private property worth Rs 5.3 crore has been assessed, he said. Article 370 was abrogated in the state of Jammu Kashmir on August 5, 2019.
