The Jammu Kashmir Police on Saturday evening attested two persons on accusation of being involved in the Sunjwan Encounter case. Administration Saturday approved hike in minimum wages of the daily wagers including the casual labourers, in all government departments from existing Rs. 225 per day to Rs. 300 per day as an interim measure till the minimum wage rates are revised by the Labour and Employment department. Five Kashmiri youth are making a huge effort to create Wikipedia in the Kashmiri language so that vast literature in the Kashmiri Language could be brought to the digital format. Kashmiri language Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia project written and maintained by the Kashmiri youth – Iflaq, Iman Qazi, Tajamul, Risha Bhat. The project led by Syed iflaq, a radiology student from Srinagar is open-source on the web in collaboration with the Wiki-based editing system. Danishwar Hameed one militant has been killed during an encounter that broke out between militants and government forces in Mirhama area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
