An encounter has started between security forces and militants in Pariswani area north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Thursday, officials said. The officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the encounter broke out shortly after joint security forces including army, CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off the area following inputs about the presence of militants there. Jammu Kashmir’s Traffic department has collected a whopping sum of over Rs 7 crores from the traffic rule violators in just past four months across the UT. An 18-year-old youth has gone missing from his home in Srinagar's Khanyar area since Saturday afternoon. Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the family members of Natish Ahmed Wani, son of Shakeel Ahmed Wani, a resident of  Babdum Khaniyar area of Srinagar appealed him to return home. "He left his home on Saturday afternoon and did not return home, which caused panic among the family members. We called him, but his phone has been switched off since then," the family members said. The Government of India on Wednesday ordered the transfer of of six IAS and IPS officers of AGMUT cadre to Jammu Kashmir with immediate effect. As per an order, a copy of which lies with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), four IAS and two IPS have been transferred to Jammu Kashmir. According to the order, Devansh Yadav, Ayushi Sudan and Minga Sherpa, all three IAS officers of AGMUT cadre, have been transferred to J&K from Arunachal Pradesh while Rashmi Singh has been transferred from Delhi. The Anti-militancy cordon and search operation (CASO) is being jointly conducted by 19 RR of the Indian Army, 96 BN of CRPF, and Jammu Kashmir police on Wednesday afternoon in the Hiller area of Anantnag.
