A punt gun, a boat and contraband articles were seized in Lankreshipora area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district during a raid carried by Forest Protection Force (FPF) on Tuesday. A CRPF trooper died while a dozen others sustained injuries after a truck hit a forces vehicle last night in Hyderpora area of uptown Srinagar. A 24-year-old conductor of an A.G.s school bus died following an accident near Taratpora village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday. Reports reaching GNS said that the conductor identified as Azim Ahmad Shiekh (24) resident of Sontipora Aloosa Kralpora allegedly fell off from the moving vehicle near Taratpora Ramhall area, resulting in his on the spot death. However police said that the cause of the death, if due to falling off from the bus or due to collision etc, was being investigated.
