The students alleged that they were forced by a teacher, namely Gowhar Farooq Ganaie, to do the cleaning task, including sweeping, and forced them to clean the school's bathrooms. Vehicle on way to Shopian encounter site turns turtle, two soldiers killed, two injured

Two soldiers were killed after the Sumo they were traveling in met with an accident near Kanipora village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district. Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a Sumo carrying soldiers from 44 RR Chowgam Camp was on its way to the encounter site at Badigam. They said the driver lost control of the vehicle and it skidded off the road. Four soldiers were injured in the mishap. Sources added that the injured were shifted to District Hospital Shopian, where two among them succumbed. They said that the remaining two injured soldiers have been evacuated to 92 Base Army hospital Srinagar. Posters are being circulated in the name of "Lashkar e Islam", an outfit that no longer exists in the Kashmir and perhaps ended with the killing of its commander in the year 2017. This is not the first time, however, that such posters have been circulated in the name of Lashkar e Islam.
