Israeli soldiers abducted six Palestinians on Wednesday evening and assaulted two of them after leaving the Al-Aqsa Mosque following evening prayers in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank. The WAFA Palestinian News Agency said the soldiers assaulted two young men in the Bab al-Amoud area before abducting them. WAFA added that the soldiers abducted three young men in the same area and pushed dozens of Palestinians away while threatening to shoot them. At least 34 persons belonging to minority communities have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir since 2017, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said on Wednesday. While replying to a question of parliamentarian Mahesh Poodar about attack on minorities in J&K, Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs Nityanand Rai said that in last five years, 34 members of minorities have lost their lives in militancy related incidents in J&K. A cylinder blast took place in a tempo vehicle outside the Tulip garden in Srinagar in which the driver of the vehicle got injured, police said on Wednesday. In the past three years the foreign tourist arrivals in Kashmir Valley have dipped by almost 95.22 percent. However, among the domestic tourist arrivals, the visitor entrance has increased nearly by 20 percent. According to the official figures available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), in the past three years, the highest number of foreign tourist arrivals in Kashmir valley was recorded in the year 2019. At least 505 security personnel and 264 civilians were killed by militants in eight years from May 2014 to November 2021, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, said on Wednesday. Suhail Dar A 5-year-old boy was killed after allegedly being hit by a school bus in Dawood Pora in Brah area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday, officials said. An official told The Kashmiriyat that a 5-year-old boy named Tameem Bhat son of Bilal Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Khul area was mowed down by a school bus while he was crossing the road on Wednesday morning. "We have complained several times about over speeding. the issue remains unresolved because of which today, we lost our child," a relative of the deceased boy said. 1 killed, another injured in fight over land dispute in Pattan

One person was killed and a woman was injured after two families clashed with each other on Wednesday over a land dispute at Gund-Abrahim area of Pattan. Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a clash broke out between two families in Gund-Abrahim area which took a violent turn. The people from both the groups allegedly attacked each other with axe during which one person, identified as Sunaullah Dar (56), suffered serious injuries.
